Poinsett County, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 10, 2024 – The Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office has made another arrest related to the shooting incident involving Judge Ron Hunter.

On Dec. 6, Timmy Taylor was taken into custody for charges of possession of a firearm by certain persons and tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation began after receiving information suggesting that Taylor was involved in discussions regarding the disposal of the firearm used in the shooting. During an interview, Taylor admitted that he had hidden a gun linked to the incident.

Detective Devon Stroud’s investigation revealed that Taylor was present during the aftermath of the shooting and was approached by Christopher Ford, the alleged shooter, who instructed him
to dispose of the firearm. Ford was given a $5 million bond related to the incident in August.

Taylor was taken to a probable cause hearing on Dec. 8.  Judge Pam Honeycutt presided over the hearing. She set a $50,000 cash or surety bond. If Taylor bonds, Honeycutt ordered an ankle monitor to be worn along with mandatory check-ins with probation officers.
