Ruth Lanell Weisenbach, 88, of Pocahontas went to her Heavenly home Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Maynard, Arkansas on July 29, 1935, to the late Thomas Earl Conway Roberts and Ruby Estell Cherry Roberts. She was a loving wife, mother and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruby Roberts; husband, Paul Andrew Weisenbach; son, Tom Weisenbach; son-in-law, Billy Wayne Kazzee; brother, Gene Roberts; sisters, Phyllis Haley and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Hopper, husband Danny of Heber Springs, Sheila Davis, husband Larry of Paragould, Paula Schaechtel, husband Bill of Pocahontas, Bonnie Kazzee of Pocahontas, Barb Weisenbach of Pocahontas and Teresa Thielemier, husband Bryan of Pocahontas; son, Tony Weisenbach, wife Daffney of Pocahontas; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Weisenbach of Walnut Ridge; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; many other family and friends.
Rosary will be held 10:30 AM May 7, 2024, with the Mass Service to begin at 11:00 AM with Father Stephen Elser officiating. All services will be held at the St. John Catholic Church. The burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are her grandsons, Jonathon Davis, Chad Davis, Brandon Kazzee, Ricky Joe Broadway, Andy Weisenbach and Blake Thielemier.
Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Thompson and Chris Schaechtel.
The family wish to express a special thank you to Father Stephen Elser, Home Bound Ministers, Dr. Drew Dawson and Legacy Hospice.
