Robert Lee Kent, Sr., aged 81, of Paragould, AR, passed from this life on Monday, October 28, 2024, at AMMC in Paragould AR. He was born July 13, 1943 in Clinton, MS, to James and Elzoria Williams Kent. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and then as the Postmaster for Bono until retiring. Robert loved softball, bowling and playing chess.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Vickie Jean Kent, and a sister, Clara Kelly.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Robert include his wife of 40 years, Regenia Moore Kent; six sons, Robert Kent, Jr., Daryl (Sonya) Kent, Stephen Kent, Patrick (Zandra) Kent, Joshua (Brooke) Kent and Nate Kent; two daughters, Angela Kent and Christine (Eathan) Eddinger; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, James, Alonzo, Melvin, and Lloyd Kent; two sisters, Nadine and Trina; and many friends and family members.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with full military honors.
No visitation is scheduled.
