Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 28, 2025 — Roads in downtown Jonesboro will be closed starting Friday for The Skirmish Delta Gravel Festival.
Road closures will be in effect from Friday, May 30, to Saturday, May 31, the City of Jonesboro said in a Facebook post. Main Street from Washington Avenue to Huntington Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday, May 31, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Main Street from Washington Avenue to Cate Avenue will be closed.
Both lanes of Union Street from Washington Avenue to Huntington Avenue will be closed. The south lane of Cate Avenue from Union Street to Main Street will also be closed. This will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Additionally, Union Street will narrow to one lane on the east side and then be fully closed from Huntington Avenue to Burke/Cate Avenue until 5 p.m.
The festival, the majority of which will take place in downtown Jonesboro, begins Thursday, May 29 and ends Sunday, June 1. It will feature group rides, live music and more, and will conclude with a ride and awards ceremony at First National Bank Arena. Click here for more information about the festival.
