Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — March 21, 2025 — Road closures are scheduled for Saturday during the Craighead County NAACP’s March on Washington.
Patrick Street, E. Washington Avenue and Church Street will be closed Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the March on Washinton. The march will begin at the E. Boone Watson Community Center and conclude at the Rotary Club of Jonesboro Centennial Plaza.
After the march ends, the NAACP will be hosting a town hall at New St. John Community M.B. Church, which runs from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The town hall will discuss voter suppression and education, and feature state representatives and more as speakers.
Drivers are asked to plan their routes accordingly.
