Alma, AR — (Contributed) — July 18, 2025 — RightFiber, a brand of Ritter Communications, is expanding its fiber optic internet service to homes in Alma through a $1.5 million network investment.

This expansion reinforces RightFiber’s continued commitment to the Arkansas River Valley Region, building on the company’s initial $12 million investment in 2022 to deliver 100% fiber internet and a full suite of telecommunications services to local businesses.

“Continuing to invest in Alma’s fiber infrastructure reinforces our commitment to delivering advanced, future-proof technology to the communities we serve,” said Ritter Communications CEO Heath Simpson. “With our fiber-to-the-home network, residents gain the speed, reliability and bandwidth to support everything from smart home devices and streaming to remote work and digital learning. This expansion equips residents with the connectivity they need to thrive today and stay ahead of advancing technology.”

The project is on track for completion later this summer, expanding access to next-generation fiber internet for even more customers across Alma. Residents can expect clear communication during the construction process, including signage and door hangers. Any property impacted during installation will be restored to its original condition.
