Richard Rowland Shaffer, 79, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born February 9, 1945 in Iowa to the late Ralph and Netha Mae James Shaffer.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ralph and Netha Shaffer; brothers, Richard Strange and Howard Shaffer; and sisters, Marilyn Strange and Sharolyn Vanderheart.
Richard is survived by his church family at Pocahontas Missionary Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10 AM at Gravesville Cemetery with Randy Lingenfelter officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
