Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 29, 2025 — The Arkansas State University Red Wolves Foundation announced Thursday it acquired the services of TurnkeyZRG to assist in the nationwide search for A-State’s next vice chancellor for intercollegiate athletics.

Managing director Chad Chatlos and vice president Katy Staudt will oversee the TurnkeyZRG search firm’s role by identifying high-quality candidates, handling the logistics associated with the application and evaluation process, and performing background checks on potential candidates.

Chatlos specializes in senior executive searches across the sports industry with a focus on diverse roles in the ever-changing landscape of intercollegiate athletics.

The Red Wolves Foundation agreement with TurnkeyZRG is privately funded.  TurnkeyZRG has completed over 200 searches in the intercollegiate athletics industry, including athletics directors, deputy athletics directors and Senior Woman Administrators, and head coaches, according to a news release from A-State Athletics.

Arkansas State Athletics first announced the search for the 14th athletics director on April 24. The current director, Jeff Purinton, was appointed executive vice president at Learfield’s Sports Properties division.
