Randy Ray Foster departed this life Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was 75 years old and passed away at the Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.

He was born on June 5, 1949, to Clifton David and Lula Lorene Foster in Harrison, AR.

Randy graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1968, where he was an avid basketball player.  Upon graduation, Randy achieved the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was deployed to Vietnam where he served his country from 1968-1972.  He loved his country, his freedom, and his community.  He continued to serve his community as a Greene County Constable for many years.  The men he served with he considered his extended family.  He loved spending time with his friends and family, specifically watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports.

Randy was preceded in death by both parents, his wife of 33 years, Debra Foster, and his twin brother, Andy Foster.

Randy was survived by many beloved family members, which include his daughters, Lori Easley (Jeff) of Paragould and Stephanie Davis (Doyne) of Walnut Ridge; sons, Heath Banks of Calico Rock, Eric Steele of Wichita, KS, brothers, David Foster (Pam) and Alan Foster (Renee); grandchildren, Lauren Covington (Chris), Caden Sheeks, Brooke Banks, Nathanial Banks, Will Davis, Ryan Banks, Wyatt Davis; and great-grandchildren, Lexis Covington, Bentley Sheeks, Layton Covington, and Aaron Oden.  He was also survived by many other family and friends.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, at Phillips Funeral Home.  A graveside service with military honors will begin at 3:15 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery. 

Honorary pallbearers are Caden Sheeks, Bentley Sheeks, Jeff Easley, Will Davis, Wyatt Davis, Doyne Davis, Tim Carey, and the Greene County Constables and Law Enforcement.
