Randy Neal Rogers, age 65, of Paragould, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 22, 2024. Randy was born on December 22, 1958, to the late Donald Ray Rogers, Sr. and Mary Lois (Warren) Rogers in St. Louis, Missouri.
Randy owned and operated Randy’s Vending in Paragould alongside his good friend and business partner, Randy Bishop, for over 25 years. Randy was a devoted member of The Crossing Church in Paragould, where he served in many ways. You could often find him hosting prayer meetings, opening his home to the community, ministering, or serving on the facility team. He was never the official “greeter” at the church, but you could always count on him being at the door every Sunday morning greeting everyone. He had a servant’s heart and a great faith in Jesus. He made a tremendous impact for the Kingdom of God wherever he found himself. Randy never met a stranger and you never saw him without his coffee and a big smile on his face. He loved everyone, loved to laugh, and to make others laugh. Randy was unique in his own special way, and always made everyone feel like family. He was a complete joy to be around, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Louise (Cook) Rogers, of the home; his children, Brian (Dusty) Brown, and Brandy (Don) Crittenden; his brother, Donald (Tina) Rogers, Jr.; grandchildren, Tracon (Allie) Brown, Branden Brown, Tessa Brown, Jezzy Brown, Caden Eaton, Brilee Eaton, Coby Eaton, Brooklyn Eaton, Qwenlyn Crittenden, Madalyn Crittenden, and Gryffin Crittenden; one great-grandson, Elias Lee, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at The Crossing Church in Paragould, beginning at 2:00 pm with Jared Pickney and Kenny Burns officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Ryan Carpenter, Lloyd Dunn, Brandon Haggermaker, Ryan Rangel, and Jason Eubanks. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Wheeler, Mike Price, Steve Carpenter, Randy Bishop, and Tim Clark.
