Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 19, 2024 – Arkansas State athletics announced Wednesday multiple promotions ahead of its men’s and women’s basketball games on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s men’s conference opener against Coastal Carolina features a toy drive benefitting Coaching Love, Inc., a non-profit foundation founded by A-State Head Coach Bryan Hodgson. Coaching Love strives to raise awareness through the game of basketball and other sports for at-risk youth, particularly those in the foster care system and/or waiting to be adopted. Fans can donate a toy and redeem it for an upper-level ticket for the Red Wolves’ 2 p.m. contest against the Chanticleers. Toys can be dropped off at the lower red entrance of First National Bank Arena, as well as the upper red and yellow entrances.
Additionally, a ticket to A-State’s game on Dec. 21 is valid for a ticket to the Red Wolves’ women’s game at 2 p.m. on Dec. 22 against Delta State. Also, a toy donation to Saturday’s game is redeemable for admission into both Saturday and Sunday’s games.
Other promotions for A-State’s weekend hoops outings include a visit from Santa Claus on Saturday and an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest at halftime of Sunday’s women’s game.
