Priscilla Cain Tennyson Wise, 67, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on August 8, 2024, at her home. She had lived in Jonesboro since 2004, moving here from Grubbs. She was born on September 25, 1956, in Richmond, Indiana to Jesse and Virginia Cain. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She had worked for Riceland Foods for over 38 years. One of her hobbies was line dancing. That is where she met her husband, because he was the dance instructor. She was a member of the Newport Rhythm Line Dancers. She loved spending time with her family, “The joy of her life”, especially at the lake. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the home. They chose an easy wedding date that he could remember, 11/11/11; sons, Allen Tennyson and wife Tammie; Anthony Tennyson and wife Ashly; daughter, Jessica Sykes and husband Darrell, all of Jonesboro; brother, Malcolm Cain of Newport; grandchildren, Sam, Emily, Will, Caleb, Zoe, Gabe, Maggie, Jamie, Jayda, Gracie and Garrett; and one great grandchild, Jessa May.
A Funeral will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Central Baptist Church with Jay Jacobs officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow at Clark Cemetery near Uno. Honorary pallbearers will be Grubbs class of 1974. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
