Update 10:55pm: Jonesboro Police report on the JPD Facebook page that, at approximately 8:55pm Saturday evening, 911 Dispatch received calls reporting gunshots in the 3600 block of Landsbrook. When officers arrived they found one person with a gunshot to his leg and another with a possible graze wound to his head. The first officer on scene applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment. Neither injury is now considered life-threatening. At this time, it is unknown who the suspect or suspects are or what led to the incident.

Jonesboro, AR – (www.kait8.com) – February 15, 2025 – KAIT is reporting that Jonesboro police are investigating a Saturday evening shooting that left two people injured.

KAIT reports that, according to Sgt. David Stout, a call was made at 9 p.m. Saturday about shots fired on Landsbrook Drive.

Stout said two people were shot. One person was taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The KAIT report said police originally said two people were taken to hospital, but later said it was only one.

It was not clear whether police were searching for a suspect.
