Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept 3, 2024 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week!” We will feature a handful of animals each week alongside information about how to adopt or volunteer.
Buzz Lightyear: Buzz is the last of the “Toy Story litter,” and he’s a favorite of the staff (including Hooch!). He’s about 11 weeks old and has spent 5 of those weeks at the shelter. He’s very playful and affectionate, and he loves other people, cats, and dogs!
Pumpkin: Pumpkin is a female hound mix weighing in at 58 lbs. She’s around 3 years old and has been in the shelter for 25 weeks. She’s been microchipped and spayed, and she’s HW negative. Pumpkin is the shelter’s triathlete– she’s very energetic and playful– but she’s also a big love bug!
