Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 14, 2024 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week alongside information about how to adopt or volunteer.
Mila: Mila, or “Mama Mia” as the staff calls her, is a spayed female cat who is one year and seven months old. She’s been in the shelter for six weeks and gets spoiled with a slow feeder and fuzzy toys.
Alli: Alli is little Marie’s mama; they came in about nine weeks ago as a welfare call and are both healthy and happy now. Alli is two years and eight months old and 44 lbs. She’s heartworm-positive but has completed treatment.
