Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 25, 2024 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or in volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, please go to neahs.org.
Meet Cookie: Cookie is a 7-month-old male cat who’s been in the shelter for five weeks. He’s long-haired, a big player, and loves to snuggle. Cookie walks a little funny, but X-rays don’t reveal any problems, and it doesn’t slow him down any. He’s a staff favorite!!!
Meet Levi: Levi is 15 weeks old, and he came in with his litter two weeks ago. He’s a tricolor mix who will likely be on the larger side. Currently, he’s only 27 lbs and is the “runt” of his litter. He’s also the least rowdy and loves interacting with the staff.
