Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — March 10, 2025 — Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Clementine: Clementine is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair female tabby. She’s been in the shelter for one week. While she can be kind of a drama queen, she’s super affectionate and has quickly become a staff favorite!
Meet Zelda: Zelda was brought in with her nine puppies (the Super Mario Bros puppies) by our Welfare Team eight weeks ago. She’s three years and one month old and is a medium-sized mix. While she’s heartworm positive, she’s being treated and is otherwise in good health. She’s energetic and sweet and loves field trips!
