Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 9, 2025 — Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Bobby: Bobby is 14 weeks old and is the last one left of the Brady Bunch litter. He’s a solid gray, domestic shorthair, and he’s been in the shelter for nine weeks. Bobby has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all of his vaccines and preventatives.

Meet Chloe: Chloe is a teddy-dog if we’ve ever seen one! She’s two years old and 67 lbs. While she’s been in the shelter for four weeks, she hasn’t been living in a kennel but instead hangs out in the laundry room with her oversized bed and fluffies. She’s been spayed and microchipped and is currently going through heartworm treatment. Most importantly, she’s ready for her furever home!
