Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 23, 2025 — Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Sky King: Sky King is a 9-week-old male, is gray-colored, and is a domestic shorthair. He’s been in the shelter for three weeks and came in with his litter– the “S” litter. He’s playful and affectionate, and he’s ready for his furever home!
Meet Jughead: Jughead is a 16-week-old male who came in with the “Archie” litter. He’s been in the shelter for four weeks and will likely be a medium-sized mix. Currently, he weighs 22 lbs., is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and is playful and energetic.
