Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — July 28, 2025 — Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Estella: Stella is an 8-month-old, female domestic shorthair tabby. She’s been in the shelter for one week, and she’s up to date on her vaccines. She’s got white “socks” on all four of her paws and is very affectionate and friendly. She’s going to make someone an excellent family member!
Meet Links: Links is a 22-week-old male, and he’s been in the shelter for eight weeks. He came in with his two littermates, Cuffy and Tiara, but he’s enjoyed being puppy-sat by Blue for the last little while. He’s up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and he’s around 30 lbs. He’s good with other dogs, loves people, and is friendly and energetic. We’ll miss him when he finds his furever home!
