Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 17, 2024 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week!” We will feature a handful of animals each week alongside information about how to adopt or volunteer.

Baylor is a 4 year old female dog; she weighs 58 lbs and has been in the shelter a month. While she’s heartworm positive, she’s completed the first phase of treatment successfully.

MK is a male cat, 1 year and 10 months old, and he’s been in the shelter for over a year.
