Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Paul: Paul is a 2 year, 7-month-old medium-sized mix. He’s been in the shelter for 1 year and 7 months despite his loving nature! Paul’s 49 lbs, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. He’s up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. He loves cuddling with the staff, toting around his fluffies, and playing with his brother, Saul.
Meet Persephone: Persephone is a 7-month-old, female domestic short-haired cat. She’s only been in the shelter a week, but she came in healthy and is up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Persephone is playful and friendly, likes other cats, and is ready for her furever home!
