Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 24, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Cady Heron: Cady is a 3-year-old, female domestic short hair cat. She’s been in the shelter for one week. She’s tortie colored and loves her cardboard tent!
Meet Kai: Kai is an 11-month-old male who’s only been in the shelter for two weeks. At 15 lbs., he’s a small mix. He’s also heartworm negative and microchipped. Kai’s healthy and ready to go home!
