Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 17, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Thaddeus: Thaddeus is a 1-year-old male cat; he’s been in the shelter for four days. He’s a light-orange tabby domestic short hair. Even though he’s only been with us for a few days, we already love him! He came in healthy and so ready to go to a home.

Meet Pineapple: Pineapple is one of our “pizza topping pups.” The litter is about 11 weeks old and has been in the shelter around three weeks. (One of our regular and dedicated volunteers cared for them for a few weeks until we had space for them.) Pineapple is a male and weighs around 20 lbs. He’s up to date on all of his shots and preventative and is the shy one of the litter.
