Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Janet: Janet came to the shelter 1 week ago with her siblings, Jack and Chrissy. She’s a one-and-a-half-year-old medium mix who weighs under 30 lbs but is still a bit underweight. She’s heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Janet is a staff favorite because she’s such a cuddle bug! She loves people and other dogs.

Meet Starla: Starla is a one-year, one-month-old female domestic short hair. She’s been in the shelter for six weeks, so she’s already been microchipped and spayed and is, of course, up to date on all of her vaccines. She’s cuddly and playful and ready for her forever home!
