Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 10, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Mielle: Mielle is a 1-year-old, female, domestic shorthair cat. She’s only been in the shelter for four days, but she’s super friendly and is sure to win you over with her gray and white coat!
Meet Nyla: Nyla is a 30 lbs., 1-year-old, female mix. She’s heartworm-negative and has been in the shelter for three weeks. She’s energetic, playful, and very affectionate. She quickly became a staff favorite!
