Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Gidget: Gidget is a 16-week-old female who came in with her litter and her parents about a month ago. She currently weighs 19 lbs and will be a medium-sized mix when fully grown. She’s up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and she’s so affectionate and friendly – she’s a staff favorite!
Meet Augustus: Augustus is an 8-week-old, male, domestic short hair. He came to the shelter 2 weeks ago with his litter and is now up to date on all of his vaccines and preventatives. He’s playful and affectionate and is ready for his furever home!
