Peggy Kick Ford, 79, departed this life on August 13, 2024, at Baptist Hospice House. She was born of March 27, 1945, to James Leo Kick and Georgia Moore Kick in Doniphan, MO.
Peggy spent many years teaching children in Sunday School, Bible Study Fellowship, Elementary School and High School. She also worked at the Baptist Children’s Home in Bartlett, TN. She served as assistant principal for 5 years at Desota County Academy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Georgia Kick and son, Michael Don Ford.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Ford; six siblings, Pat Jones of Pocahontas, Jim Kick (Charlotte) of Forney, TX., Nancy Smith (AI) of Collierville, TN., Jack Kick (Carol) of Pocahontas Danny (Donna) Kick of El Dorado and Donna Hicks (Mike) of Jonesboro; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held 1:30 – 2:30 pm Saturday, August 17, 2024, with the service to begin at 2:30 pm with Chris Niswonger officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cody Kick, Ben Liebhaber, Brett Liebhaber, Jason Smith, Jordan Hicks and Russ Kick.
Honorary pallbearers are Heath Kick, Kasey Kick, Shane Hicks, Dr. Randy Ford and Jeff Ford.
