Ozella Rosetta Williams, lovingly known as ”Shorty” passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born on February 12, 1951, in Light, AR to Richard and Minnie (Sisco) Huffman. Shorty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a firecracker spirit and a love for Bingo, card games, and dice.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Danny Williams; her parents; and a sister, Effie Huffman.
Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Daniel (Tanya) Williams and Samuel Williams; daughter Amanda (Jeffery) McGinty; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with another one on the way; a brother Rick (Mandy) Huffman; a sister, Florene ”Buttons” Renck; a daughter in law, Amanda F. Williams; and many friends, family and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, beginning at 11am at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home 1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401.
