Craighead County, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 2, 2025 — Multiple power companies across Northeast Arkansas are reporting outages after Wednesday’s storms, affecting thousands of people.
The Craighead Electric Cooperative said it was beginning to assess damage and that approximately 2,075 meters were off. It added that there was extensive damage from the outage and that the restoration process will take time.

Entergy Arkansas said 26,877 customers across Arkansas were without power. In Craighead County, 3,190 outages were reported.

Jonesboro City Water and Light reported on its website that around 144 outages have been verified.
In addition, Ritter Communications said on Facebook confirmed its internet services are experiencing an outage due to storm damage. The outage is affecting all services in Monette, the company said.
“Our repair field team is assessing the situation and awaiting permission to begin repairs from the power company,” the company said in the post. “Due to the outage, when calling customer support, you may experience longer-than-normal wait times.”
