Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – April 13, 2024 – Jonesboro police say one person is dead following a Friday night shooting.
According to a post on the Jonesboro Police Department Facebook page, officers responded to a shooting at the Race Street Market at the corner of Race Street and Richardson Drive shortly before 10 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found 18-year-old Lamarion Bailey, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers later reported 23-year-old Damariante Russell had been taken to a local hospital with an apparent gunshot wound that was related to this incident.
JPD posted a request on Facebook asking that anyone who was a witness or has any information about the shooting to call 870-935-5657.
