Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 30, 2024 – The nurse at the Craighead County Detention Center who was checking on an inmate earlier this month who later died has been terminated by Turn Key Medical, the company employed by the Sheriff’s Office to oversee medical care for inmates, according to Justin Rolland, chief deputy at the CCSO.

Delaney Hall was on call the night of May 3 when a 21-year-old Jonesboro man being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a public intoxication charge died.

Rolland said Brock Austin Tyner of Jonesboro died early Saturday morning, May 4. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Rolland said.

Tyner was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, on suspicion of public intoxication on Gee Street, Rolland said. A cause of death hasn’t been released.
