Several non-profit organizations were present to promote the assistance the groups can provide individuals. One of those organizations was the “Period Impact Project.” The group had “period packs” to give to young girls. “We know that access to period products can directly impact a student’s ability to focus, attend, and participate in school fully,” said Sonya Sanders, a volunteer for the organization. “Together, we can help close that gap.”
