Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — July 31, 2025 — This coming Tuesday morning’s bi-weekly meeting of the Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club will feature a presentation by Charles Tate.
Tate will speak about the local chapter of the National Federation of the Blind which he founded, and his experiences as a blind graduate student at Arkansas State University. He is the recipient of the JUH Lions club’s annual ASU Scholarship for the coming academic year.
The club’s meeting will be on Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, at 6:30 am in the Eggsellent Café at 906 S. Caraway Road, across the street from the police station. Visitors are always welcome.
