Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 31, 2024 – A 31-year-old Jonesboro man allegedly took some mushrooms and ended up getting arrested for lewd conduct.
According to police reports, it appears his mother was the one that called 911. Apparently, she was driving down Cedar Heights Drive, with her son as a passenger. At least once, the son got out of her vehicle, naked, and laid down in the grass on the side of the road. His mother told officers that he’d eaten some mushrooms and wouldn’t calm down.
Officers advised him to stay in the vehicle, but he kept trying to get out. His pupils were big, and he was saying a lot of things, but none of it made any sense.
In spite of warnings, the man got out of the vehicle again and the officers attempted to put him in handcuffs. At this point, he started trying to get back into the vehicle. Believing the man to be a danger to himself, both hands were cuffed, and officers placed some boxer briefs on him. Then, they took him to St Bernards.
He was issued a citation for lewd conduct and will be in court in October.
