Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 26, 2024 – A 33-year-old Jonesboro man has been charged with multiple drug-related felonies after he was arrested with several different drugs on him.

JPD officers approached Joshua Walker outside the Race Street Market. When he saw them, he ran away. He was quickly apprehended and searched. Officers found 36 baggies of cocaine, a baggie that had meth in it, several others with marijuana and a handful of Hydrocodone pills.

Walker was then taken back to his vehicle, and a search was conducted. 85 grams of marijuana was found in a Tootsie Roll container, a couple digital scales that had cocaine residue on them, and 2 boxes of sandwich baggies… the same type of baggies that contained all of the cocaine and meth from the earlier search.

In the vehicle glove box, there was a Crown Royal bag that contained 50 individually wrapped “dime bags” of cocaine, plus a “brick.” The total amount of cocaine in the CR bag was 59 grams.

Because Walker is on probation, officers searched through his cell phone, which included many text messages about what he had available to sell and what the price was.

In his probable cause hearing, Walker was charged with 6 felonies and his bond was set at $75,000.
