Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 10, 2024 – Join motorcycle riders from around the area for the inaugural Arkansas Police Motorcycle Rodeo, the first of its kind in the state, taking place on June 29th at Joe Mack Campbell Park.
The rodeo will feature three events, starting with the Fun Run. Motor Officers will navigate through five different cone patterns seamlessly tied together, competing for the best time.
Next up is the Slow Ride, where officers will showcase their exceptional riding skills. Entering a short and simple cone pattern, the goal here is to achieve the longest time possible.
The Team Ride adds a collaborative twist as two Motor Officers maneuver through three cone patterns.
For each event, first, second, and third place trophies will be awarded. Additionally, an Overall Winner will receive a custom Motor Officer Belt Buckle as a token of their excellence.
Thanks to the generous funding from the Arkansas Municipal Police Association (AMPA), all proceeds from the rodeo will support the Jonesboro Police Department Dare Program, contributing to the safety and well-being of our community.
We invite citizens from across the state to witness these skilled officers in action. The course will be open for practice on the 28th to participants. On the day of the event, we’ll have representatives from Harley Davidson and food trucks to add to the festivities.
If you’re interested in getting involved or offering support, contact Zach Kaja with the Jonesboro Police Department at ZKaja@jonesboro.org. For more information and updates, visit our event Facebook page.
We’re thrilled to welcome Motor Officers from all corners of the state, including those traveling from as far as Fort Smith. Let’s make this inaugural Arkansas Police Motorcycle Rodeo a resounding success and establish it as an annual highlight for Jonesboro and the entire state.
