Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 5, 2024 – The City of Jonesboro has announced another round of street overlays for 2024.
The resolution is on the consent agenda to be approved at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting with an included list of proposed overlay locations.
The resolution states, “A resolution by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to amend the FY2024 budget and appropriate funds for additional street overlays and amend the contract with Atlas Asphalt, Inc. the 2024 asphalt milling and overlays for selected city street projects.”
JRN originally reported on the overlay projects published by the city in July. The new list is in addition to those.
When comparing the city’s published list with the dozens of complaints on our Facebook post, it became apparent that there was no overlap between the two.
The city’s newest published list does include two locations that were on the list of reader complaints – Richardson and Willow.
Original overlay projects are highlighted below in pink, user comments are blue icons, and new overlay projects are green.
