Monette, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 13, 2024 – The Monette Christmas Parade has been rescheduled due to weather.
The parade will be held Sunday, Dec. 15, with lineup beginning at 2 p.m. The parade will start at 3 p.m.
Those participating in the parade will meet behind the American Legion building, located at 209 E. Drew Ave. The parade will start at the American Legion and make its way through downtown Monette, ending at the Buffalo Island Central High School.
The parade was originally scheduled for Dec. 14, however, this was changed due to a nearly 100% chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
In addition, those with the best-decorated floats will have the chance to win a trophy. There will be first, second and third place winners, with judging beginning at 2:30 p.m.
“If people can come out and enjoy it, we’ll be here,” said Joe Russell, director of the Monette Christmas Parade.
