Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 10, 2024 – Jonesboro police recently responded to a local motel about a report of two men selling drugs.
Both of the men were already on probation.
A small bag of meth was found in one of their pants and more meth was sitting out on a table, along with a digital scale and a meth pipe. Both men not only denied that the items belonged to them, but they denied that the items were even there in the room. Both were placed into custody.
There was a 7-year-old relative to one of the men also in the room. He was turned over to another relative.
Both were charged with possession and intent to deliver. The man related to the boy was also charged with endangering the welfare. He was given a $75,000 cash or surety bond. The other man was given a $10,000 cash or surety bond. Both have a court date of Jan. 24, 2025.
