Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – April 10, 2024 – A Bono man who was sentenced to 120 days in the Craighead County Detention Center for two counts of sexual indecency with a child will be allowed to serve his sentence with house arrest.

Timothy Bonham, 66, was convicted of having sexual contact with two girls under the age of 10 in December.

Bonham was serving his sentence when he was transported to a local hospital’s Intensive Care Unit and then to a private room on Wednesday, according to court documents.

Due to his medical condition, Craighead County Circuit Judge Randy Philhours agreed to the modified sentence sought by the 2nd Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Bonham is confined to house arrest until July 1 and can only leave his residence for medical treatment as part of Philhours’ order.

Bonham was placed on five years of probation as part of his plea deal.
