Matthew Joe Brown, 35, departed from this life at his home in Jonesboro June 18, 2024. He was born on December 28th 1988 in Jonesboro Arkansas. He loved duck hunting on the St. Francis River, his dog Jax, mudding, fireworks and family gatherings. He was such a big kid at heart, during family gatherings you could find him jumping in the bounce house and playing tag with all the kids. He had a big heart and beautiful smile, he got that smile from his Momma! Matthew always said “the best day of my life was the day my daughter was born.” He is proceeded in death by his dog Jax his best friend, his Grandma Marjorie Perrigo Mincy, Aunt Paula Mincy Moody, Great Aunt Janie Sue Perrigo, Grandparents Sue and Jim Speakes and his father Bill Joe Brown.
He is survived by his parents Ricky and Brenda Mincy Speakes; his daughter, Madison Rose Brown. his brothers, Perry (Crystal) Heavener and Cody (Shelby) White and Travis Fender; his sisters, Hollye Brown Skeen, Sissy Crystal (Michael) Thomas, Taylor (Jeremy) Counce and Candice Burgess. Uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Celebration of life will be at the Trumann Sports Complex from 1-4 on June 29th. Bro. Glen Hurst will officiate at 1:30 followed by fellowship of family and friends and his favorite foods. He was a Southern Baptist so there will be chicken served. In lieu of flowers please consider donating towards final expenses at Thompson’s funeral home in Trumann AR.
