Mary “Deanna” Decker, 29, of Paragould, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She was born November 3, 1966. Deanna attended Lake Street Baptist Church and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed dancing and doing canvas crafting. Deanna always wanted a hug and was a loving mother, wife, sister, and granddaughter. She always made sure to say “I love you sweetie.”

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Bass; biological father, Donald Cavaness; brothers, David Cavaness, Richie Brady; sisters, Denise Jewell and Angela Cunningham; and nephew, Ray Conyers.

Survivors include her husband, David Decker; father, Rick Brady; sons, Lee Bateman (Mykia), Brian Decker (Jennifer), Adam Shelton (Amanda); daughters, Kim Bowling (Chad), Courtney Bateman, Amanda Decker; brothers, Chris Brady (Shelly), John Cavaness (Amanda), Donnie Cavaness (Chris); sisters, Angie Cox (David), Regina Reeves (Tim), Sandy Brown, Tonya Tinsley; twenty-four grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jody Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.

Carter Bateman, Cason Bateman, Wyatt Smith, James Pennington, Brian Shatley, and Jody Faulkner will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Lee Bateman, Chad Bowling, and Brian Decker.
