Martha K. Goodwin, 80, of Maynard passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born January 30, 1944 in Ravenden Springs to the late Jed Almus and Birdie Mae Davis Rickman.  Martha graduated from beauty school and operated Shear Creations Salon at the South Y Shopping Center for many years where she developed very close relationships with her clients.  Martha also used her cosmetology talents for many years at McNabb Funeral Home.  Martha was a very caring person always rooting for the underdog, looking for the best in everyone, and helping everyone she could.  She loved dogs and cats, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Jed and Birdie Rickman; husband, Keith Lavoy Goodwin; five brothers, Duel, Darrell, J.B., Raymond, and Jim Rickman; and three sisters, Joyce Morris, Wilma Rickman, and Helen Rickman.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Devyn Erazo of Doniphan and Juan Erazo of Maynard; niece, Terri Curtis of Maynard; special great niece Ashley Diaz of Weiner and her family; brother, Jerry Rickman of Greers Ferry; sisters, Peggy Smith of Noland and Janise Taylor of Little Rock; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends

Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2-3 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10 AM at Maynard Cemetery with Joshua Dement officiating.  Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Erazo, Philip Diaz, Devyn Erazo, Juan Erazo, Edward McCauley, and Branch Robison.
