Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 14, 2024 – Jonesboro police were dispatched to the Walmart on Highland Drive Thursday around 2:15 p.m. about a possible shooting threat.

According to the probable cause affidavit, 64-year-old Micheal Oharris called Walmart and said he was “about to come to the store and start shooting people.” Officers later confirmed the number belonged to Oharris.

Officers located Oharris shortly afterward and took him into custody.

During a Mirandized interview, Oharris reportedly admitted he made a statement about shooting people.

Oharris is charged with 1st degree terroristic threatening. He was given a bond of $50,000 c/s and a court date of Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m.
