Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – April 29, 2024 – A Jonesboro man is being held on a $1 million bond after District Judge David Boling found probable cause Friday, April 26, to charge him with delivery of methamphetamine or cocaine greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams with an enhancement of distribution near certain facilities.
Cesar Alvarado, 45, sold 3.6 grams of meth to a confidential informant in June 2022, according to a probable cause affidavit by Agent Rick Guimond with the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force.
The informant was given money to buy the drug from DTF funds. He went to Alvarado’s apartment in the 2200 block of Clark Street, where the buy occurred.
Alvarado was already out on a $350,000 bond from a previous charge.
The apartment where the buy occurred is directly across the street from the Fullness of Joy Church, the affidavit said.
His next court date is May 22 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
