Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 3, 2024 – The Make-A-Wish Foundation, in collaboration with International Studies Magnet School, is thrilled to announce the fulfillment of Jennings Roberts’ wish, a 7-year-old with a passion for dinosaurs and adventure.

During a school presentation by The Dinosaur Crew, Jennings was immersed in a world of prehistoric wonder with 650 of her closest friends – her classmates from International Studies.  The Dinasaur Crew showcased four baby dinosaurs, with one hatching live before her eyes, followed by an exhilarating fossil dig experience. As the presentation reached its peak, Jennings had the extraordinary opportunity to meet “Spike,” a 12-foot long, 2000-pound velociraptor. She even participated as a special volunteer in a thrilling fossil excavation activity.

Make-A-Wish Ambassador Christie Matthews was thrilled to be a part of granting Jennings’ wish. Jennings and her family will embark on an unforgettable journey to Oahu, Hawaii. Their accommodations at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort will provide a perfect setting for relaxation and adventure.  Their itinerary includes an exclusive Jurassic Adventure Tour at Kualoa Ranch, where they’ll explore the breathtaking landscapes where Jurassic Park was filmed. Additionally, they will indulge in a Dolphin Encounter Tour, creating cherished memories alongside Hawaii’s marine life.

“Jennings’ wish embodies the essence of imagination, discovery, and joy,” said Christie. “We are honored to play a part in making her wish a reality and are grateful for the students and faculty at International Studies and their fundraising efforts to create a magical wish experience.”

Jennings was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020 and underwent three years of treatment at St. Jude. She is now cancer free!
