Lynda Pearrow Lester, 72 of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on February 20, 2024 at her home. She was born on October 19, 1951 in Helena, Arkansas to Fritz Pearrow and Alma Downie (Bruce). She enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and photography. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching horror movies. She was an accomplished cook and often baked wedding cakes for her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include; one daughter: Sami Rogers (James) of the home; one sister: Andrea Ray (Scott) of Whitehall, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Bethany Gould, Jaime Kaminski, Michael Slater, Tosha Slater, Harmon Slater, Ian Rogers, Alexis Rogers; several great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband: Terry Lester; two sons: James Slater and Jonny Slater; her parents: Fritz Pearrow and Alma Downie: step-father; Bruce Downie; and one sister: Joyce McKay. A celebration of life will be held on March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Antioch Baptist Church, 429 County Road, Brookland, Arkanasas with Bro. Elmer Ash under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Saturday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
