Lola Fern Cooper, 67, of Paragould passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born August 15, 1956, to Ott and Lola Austin.
Lola’s life was a testament to the power of kindness, care, and love. Her smile, as bright and warm as the sun, will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Lola’s spirit was characterized by her enduring strength and optimism. Even in the face of life’s challenges, she maintained a positive outlook that inspired everyone around her.
An avid lover of the natural world, Lola found great joy in bird watching. She delighted in the simple pleasure of observing the beauty and grace of birds in their natural habitat. Her love for flowers was equally profound.
Family was the cornerstone of Lola’s world. She reveled in the time she spent with her grandchildren, imparting wisdom, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be held dear for generations to come.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sherry Wall; and granddaughter, Caleigh Forkum.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Cooper; son, Anthony Cooper (Chelli); daughters, Toni Garner, Shanna Kinne, Brittany Skelton; brother, Jeff Walker; sister, Carolyn Day; grandchildren, Catlin Nelson, Felix Cooper, Caleigh Terry, Evan Kinne, Melanie Skelton, Harleigh Skelton; and great-granddaughter, Aila Lopez.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, from 10:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Kevin Edgar officiating. Burial will follow at Croft Cemetery.
