Local business hosts School Supply Drive

Back to school is on the horizon and back to school shopping is in full swing.

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 4, 2024 – Back to school is on the horizon and back to school shopping is in full swing.

Austin Lewis, the owner of YESSUH BBQ & More Catering, a local food truck here in Jonesboro, will be hosting their annual school supply drive on Saturday, August 10th.

This year Lewis is collaborating with the Sigma Gamma Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and the Nu Tau Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

If you would like to donate, they are asking for backpacks, binders, pencils, and notebook paper. You can bring these donations to MacArthur Jr. High School from 2 pm to 6 pm on August 10th.

These donations will ensure students who may not be able to get school supplies themselves will still have school supplies for the school year.
